Micro (Greek letter μ, mu, non-italic) is a unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of one millionth (10−6). It comes from the Greek word μικρός (mikrós), meaning "small". It is the only SI prefix which uses a character not from the Latin alphabet. In Unicode, the symbol is represented by U+03BC μ GREEK SMALL LETTER MU or the legacy symbol U+00B5 µ MICRO SIGN. The prefix "mc" is also commonly used; for example, "mcg" denotes a microgram (whereas mg denotes a milligram).

Ingram Micro Holding Corporation is an American distributor of information technology products and services. The company is based in Irvine, California, U.S., and has operations around the world. Founded as Micro D, Inc. in 1979 in California by Geza Czige and Lorraine Mecca, the company was originally a traditional distributor focused on marketing, selling, and shipping vendor products to resellers. It has since repositioned itself as a platform-based business centered on its business-to-business (B2B) digital experience platform. As one of the world's largest technology distributors, Ingram Micro purchases hardware, software, and cloud services from manufacturers and resells them to resellers, managed service providers, and other channel partners, holding inventory on its balance sheet. This wholesale distribution model is inventory- and capital-intensive rather than asset-light. For fiscal year 2025, the company reported net sales of $52.6 billion, an increase of 9.5% over the prior year, and roughly 23,500 employees serving more than 161,000 customers worldwide.
The Game Boy Micro is a handheld game console developed and marketed by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on September 13, 2005, and in other regions later that year. A miniaturized version of the Game Boy Advance, it was the last in the Game Boy line. Unlike other Game Boy Advance models, the Micro lacks backward compatibility for original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. It failed to meet Nintendo's sales expectations, having sold about 2.4 million units worldwide.
Before the 1921 destruction of Tulsa’s Greenwood District, Black residents had created a remarkable center of business and community life. The district included stores, professional offices, entertainment venues and homes owned by Black citizens. Understanding Greenwood means learning what was built—not only what was burned.
