Wilmington, North Carolina once had a thriving Black middle class and an elected interracial government. In 1898 white supremacists used violence to overthrow that government, kill Black residents and drive many others from the city.

The term set-back box (SBB) is used in the digital TV industry to describe a piece of consumer hardware that enables them to access both linear broadcast and internet-based video content, plus a range of interactive services like electronic program guides , pay-per-view, and video on demand as well as internet browsing, and view them on a large screen television set. Unlike standard set-top boxes, which sit on top or below the TV set, a set-back box has a smaller form factor to enable it to be mounted to the rear of the flat panel TV, hiding it from view.
To date, set-back boxes have been mainly focused on the cable industry, having been rolled out in four major cable markets in the United States. As of February 2010, these devices are available in both standard-definition and high-definition versions, provide a DOCSIS 2.0 high speed return channel, and are able to receive transmissions in all industry standard compression formats, including MPEG-2, MPEG-4/H.264 and SMPTE-421M/VC-. This enables broadcasters to maximise their broadcast bandwidth while creating a new consumer TV experience.
In October 2009 the ADB-4820C set-back box was voted the TV Innovation of the Year,[1] by a panel of independent industry experts, overseen by IMS Research at the TV 3.0 Conference in Denver, Colorado, United States of America. The ADB set-back box was the first to use the latest HDMI-CEC technology, enabling a single remote control to be used for both the TV and set-back box and is tru2way compliant.

Single set back (also known as the "Lone Setback" or "Singleback" or "Ace" formation or "Oneback" or "Solo") is an offensive base formation in American football which requires only one running back (usually a halfback) lined up about five yards behind the quarterback. There are many variations on single back formations including two tight ends and two wide receivers, one tight end/three wide receivers, etc. The running back can line up directly behind the quarterback or offset either the weak side (away from the tight end) or the strong side (towards the tight end).
A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback to rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and block. There are usually one or two running backs on the field for a given play, depending on the offensive formation. A running back may be a halfback (in certain contexts also referred to as a "tailback" — see below), a wingback, or a fullback. A running back will sometimes be called a "feature back" if he is the team's key player/more prominent running back. With the increase in pass-oriented offenses and single set back formations, it is more common to refer to these players as simply running backs.

James Dalvin Cook III (born September 25, 1999) is an American professional football running back for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs, winning a national championship with them in 2021, and was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. Cook has earned the nickname "Captain Cook" which is a reference to British explorer and Naval Officer James Cook. After becoming Buffalo's lead tailback, Cook became the team's first rusher to attain over 1,000 yards in a single season since 2017, as well as scoring 16 rushing touchdowns in a single season (tying a franchise record set in 1975) and earning three Pro Bowl nominations and a second-team All-Pro award. In 2025, Cook led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,621, becoming the team's first player to lead the league in rushing since 1976. He is the younger brother of former NFL running back Dalvin Cook.
Before the 1921 destruction of Tulsa’s Greenwood District, Black residents had created a remarkable center of business and community life. The district included stores, professional offices, entertainment venues and homes owned by Black citizens. Understanding Greenwood means learning what was built—not only what was burned.
